In Via Kids, we partner with parents to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can discover Jesus and grow in their love for Him.

What to Expect

When you first arrive, look for the Via Kids arrows that will guide you to the check-in area. Head to the First-Time Guests station, and our volunteers will walk you through a quick and easy check-in process and personally show you to your child’s room.

Age Groups

Nursery & Toddlers

6 weeks — 1 year

Your child will experience personal care from our team. We keep our nursery & toddler rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are cleaned between service. 

We know babies/toddlers have specific needs and schedules, so when you bring your child to the classroom, we have an easy-to-use form that you can fill out to let our team know the feeding, sleeping, and changing needs your child has. We also take time to love and pray for your child each week.

Preschool & Kindergarten

2 years — Kindergarten

Our rooms are designed with your child in mind. With age-appropriate toys and special service elements just for them, our team is ready to care for and have fun with your little one during service.

In our classes for 2-year-olds through Kindergarten, children begin to engage more with their church experience. We help them interact with their friends, build relationships with their teachers, and grow in their faith in God. Each week, they engage with Bible stories, video lessons, small groups, and worship songs that teach them Biblical truths.

Elementary

1st — 4th grade

Our elementary classroom is a fun and exciting place where kids learn about Jesus in a way they can understand! Each week, they hear amazing Bible stories, engage in interactive lessons, play fun games, and join in worship.

Special Needs

We have a dedicated Special Needs Team that connects with buddies and families each week as we prepare for our services. To better support families with children who have additional needs, we ask that you complete our online intake form. This helps us get to know your child’s specific needs and provide the best experience possible.

Family Room

Our Family Room is a comfortable, welcoming space designed for parents and caregivers with young children. It features cozy seating, toys, and a live stream of the service, allowing families to stay engaged while caring for their little ones. We understand that some parents may not be ready to leave their child in a classroom, so this space provides a supportive environment where everyone can feel included during the service.

  • Via Kids is designed for children from six weeks old through 4th grade. We offer age-appropriate environments tailored to help every child learn about Jesus in a way that makes sense to them.

  • Checking in is quick and easy! When you arrive, stop by our Via Kids Check-In Station. Our friendly team is there to help you register your child and print a security tag. We also have a self check-in station available, if you prefer to check in on your own. You’ll receive a matching tag for pick-up to ensure your child’s safety.

  • Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. Every Via Kids volunteer is background-checked and trained to provide a secure, caring environment. We also use a secure check-in/check-out system and have a dedicated safety team on-site.

  • Kids will worship, learn, and play in a fun, engaging environment. Each service includes age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, interactive activities, and small group time to help kids apply what they learn.

  • If your child needs you, we will text you using the phone number provided at check-in. We ask that parents keep their phones on vibrate during service just in case we need to reach you.

  • Yes, all of our volunteers are fingerprinted and background checked through Live Scan against the Department of Justice database. If you’d like more information about the process and how thorough it is, you can visit the Department of Justice website: https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints
