BAPTISM
Baptism is a powerful outward declaration of your commitment to follow Jesus.
At VIA, we believe baptism is deeply significant because Jesus himself modeled it. After His resurrection, He told His disciples: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
When you acknowledge Jesus as your Savior, baptism is your public declaration of that decision. As a church, we celebrate each baptism together, knowing it’s a powerful reminder that we are made new in Christ, and the old has passed away.
